Tutor.AI in the semester break, big thanks to all participating students

The many responses from students who voluntarily took part in the Tutor.AI beta test have motivated us to extend and expand the project in the winter semester. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the students who tested Tutor.AI, pushed it to its limits and supported us with valuable tips and ideas, as well as with their honest assessment in the surveys! In addition to some technical revisions and requests that we received via our accompanying scientific survey, we will also share the initial results of the beta test with an interested public. Of course, we will also carefully analyse the usage data and other data from the survey together. On 2 and 3 September, Alina Hemmer and Tobias Zimmermann will present Tutor.AI with a poster at Learning Aid 2024 in Bochum. And on 20 and 21 September, the conference DeutschGPT 2.0. Deutschunterricht im Dialog mit Künstlicher Intelligenz will take place in Potsdam. Prof. Dr Silvia Reuvekamp, Prof. Dr Sebastian Bernhardt, Friedrich Bach and Ninja Schmiedgen will give a presentation that will not only reflect on Tutor.AI as a whole, but also specifically address the perspectives, potentials and obstacles of using Tutor.AI in German studies.
